Join us for an exciting children's book launch for I Love My Grandmommy and I Love My Daddy, new books written and illustrated by Lynn and Julianne Arce. These delightful little stories, inspired by the authors' real life experiences, used brightly colored artwork and easy-to-read words, perfect for 6 years old and below. Our young Author Julianne Arce will read the book at 2:00pm.

There will be some games and face painting. Lynn and Julianne will be available for book signing by 2:30pm. Autographed books are great mementos of your visit and gifts for your very own Grandmommy and Daddy.

Another Book: I Love My Daddy

Because Loving Hubby deserves a royal treatment, a free cart ride was the kids' gift to their daddy on Father's Day.

Well, kidding aside. Strawberry Cupcake and I wrote another book, which is dedicated to her dearest Daddy. It captures the love between a father and child in a kid's point of view. So if you are thinking of giving your daddy a gift or just to have a snuggle time with daddy, this book may be a good start.

The Launch: I Love My Grandmommy book

One of Strawberry Cupcake's character inspirations in the book, I Love My Grandmommy, already got her very first copy of the book. She celebrated her 81st birthday yesterday and the book was Strawberry Cupcake and Jumping Bee's birthday present for their dearest Grandmommy.

Strawberry Cupcake and Grandmommy were reading the book together for the first time.

It was a wonderful bonding time for both of them. Not only she showed her appreciation of her Grandmommy, it was a great reading time too. A win win situation!

Welcome to I Love You Books blog. Well, it's all about love! Love for parents, love for friends, love for grandparents, love for numbers and letters. 

2012-2013 marks our first year of homeschooling. In my effort to continue the writing and reading at home, I thought creating a simple book would be a good start. Since Strawberry Cupcake's Grandmommy will be turning 81 years old this week, it is going to be a perfect timing to create a book in honor of all the wonderful things that she has shown over the years. So I asked Strawberry Cupcake to list down all the things that reminds her of how her Grandmas ( yes, Grandmas) show their love for her, and that's how the book was made.

Our summer fun activity turned into a real-life book. The paperback copy is less thicker than the picture.  This is just an illustration.

THE NITTY GRITTY
